Hawaii Counties

Hawaii has five counties, and each one plays a role in the state jail roster. Honolulu, Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai counties have their own police departments and a community correctional center that holds arrestees and short-term inmates. Kalawao County is unique and has no local government or jail, so law enforcement there runs through Maui County agencies. Every county feeds names into the state Hawaii jail roster through intake at its local facility. Select a county below to find contact info, facility details, and police resources for that area.
